This is another of my mixed media abstract paintings. I used Mexican handmade papers, burlap, tissue papers, pastel and acrylic paint. There are many entrances and exits to be found in this piece and it works successfully any way it is turned. I am showing it vertically but you might also like it horizontally.
Following a long and successful career as an educator/administrator, Myra has focused her time, energy and talents on watercolor painting. Her other passions also include a life-long love of playing classical music on the piano. She believes that her love of music, along with foreign travel and photography have contributed and enhanced her artistic development. Myra's art training includes numerous courses at Haliburton School for the Arts, Loyalist College, and the Blue Mt. School of Painting, studying with Jack Reid, Jacques Hebert, Art Cunanan, and Brian Smith.
