Foreign travel has continued to be the inspiration for so much of my recent artwork. This coming Saturday,Sept. 18th , I will be taking a 26 day journey to mainland China with a side trip to southwestern China in order to see Dali Lijiang, and finally the mythological Shangrila. I particularly enjoy experiencing the culture and meeting the people of the countries I visit. In this past year or so, my travels have taken me to Egypt, Jordan, and the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. I'm sure these upcoming experiences will continue to inspire my work. When I have computer access, I hope to report on my trip to China on this Blog. Keep tuned in!
