The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is a rather stylized design- based collage on archival water colour paper. I also used hand made paper as another type of collage material to create some shapes that suggested trees, along with construction paper cut out shapes.

Following a long and successful career as an educator/administrator, Myra has focused her time, energy and talents on watercolor painting. Her other passions also include a life-long love of playing classical music on the piano. She believes that her love of music, along with foreign travel and photography have contributed and enhanced her artistic development. Myra's art training includes numerous courses at Haliburton School for the Arts, Loyalist College, and the Blue Mt. School of Painting, studying with Jack Reid, Jacques Hebert, Art Cunanan, and Brian Smith.
