This mixed media semi-abstract landscape has been painted with acrylics on watercolour paper and fastened on a board and framed. I've used "organic" shapes to suggest a landscape that emerges from a night time scene in the upper left hand corner.
Following a long and successful career as an educator/administrator, Myra has focused her time, energy and talents on watercolor painting. Her other passions also include a life-long love of playing classical music on the piano. She believes that her love of music, along with foreign travel and photography have contributed and enhanced her artistic development. Myra's art training includes numerous courses at Haliburton School for the Arts, Loyalist College, and the Blue Mt. School of Painting, studying with Jack Reid, Jacques Hebert, Art Cunanan, and Brian Smith.
