This is one of my favourite mixed media abstracts, an experiment using a variety of handmade papers, ink, line work, calligraphy using acrylic paint on water-colour paper. I loved the earth tones created with the limited palette of colors I used.
Following a long and successful career as an educator/administrator, Myra has focused her time, energy and talents on watercolor painting. Her other passions also include a life-long love of playing classical music on the piano. She believes that her love of music, along with foreign travel and photography have contributed and enhanced her artistic development. Myra's art training includes numerous courses at Haliburton School for the Arts, Loyalist College, and the Blue Mt. School of Painting, studying with Jack Reid, Jacques Hebert, Art Cunanan, and Brian Smith.
