This semi abstract Fall landscape painting is my way of celebrating Canada's 150th birthday -2017. When people think of Canada, they might imagine mountains, trees, lakes and oceans. My favorite season of the year is Fall and the colors I used in this painting reflect this season but in an imaginative way.
Following a long and successful career as an educator/administrator, Myra has focused her time, energy and talents on watercolor painting. Her other passions also include a life-long love of playing classical music on the piano. She believes that her love of music, along with foreign travel and photography have contributed and enhanced her artistic development. Myra's art training includes numerous courses at Haliburton School for the Arts, Loyalist College, and the Blue Mt. School of Painting, studying with Jack Reid, Jacques Hebert, Art Cunanan, and Brian Smith.
